/ YUET STORY

Moon • Yuet (月) – a Hong Kong based bakery is founded by local Pâtisserie Candy Yeung, with the aspiration to “light up every diner’s face with dessert”. Spotlighting on her breads, butters and desserts that all come with a touch of Hong Kong nuance.

 

Taken from her Chinese name, the word "Moon" comes with two meanings - a similar pronunciation in Chinese that means "full" or "complete", and with the two languages combined, Candy hopes to bring a big smile to every one of her customers face upon trying her desserts.

 

Discerning her path in bakery early on in her high school years, Candy went on to pursue a career as pastry chef in Hong Kong's fine dining scene. Having trained under one of the most famed chefs in town for 4 years, and further continued her culinary journey in Melbourne, setting eyes on modern French along the way.
